Welcome to The Strand.

This is a brand new six part drama from the media studies department at Sawtry Community College. It involved local acting talent from all around Cambridgeshire and the students working alongside Executive Producer Brendan Sheppard and was filmed in 2011.

It took around three months to plan and a further four months to film all six episodes and was overseen by script editor and student Gemma Clear.

The Strand tells the story of six young people who get caught up in a series of events that will change their lives forever, after all, life doesn’t stop when the bell rings...
