Learning for All e-book

Welcome to the world of learning at Sawtry Community College in Cambridgeshire.  Learning for All is an e-book that is the sequel to the book written by Maurice Dybeck called College for All – the Foundation Years 1963 -1984.  Building on the foundation years, we are endeavouring to write about the building blocks which have been put in place since 1984 and capture the continuing learning journey to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the College in 2013.  Please feel free to contribute to the e-book by emailing alan.stevens@sawtrycc.org.uk.  As an e-book we will be able to receive text, photographs, video clips or recorded interviews etc.  The finished product will be an e-book made available for everyone to read on the college website www.sawtrycc.com

Learning for All will start by illustrating how students are learning in a digital age by their designing and developing e-books.  There will then be an opportunity to see how we arrived at this point since 1984, when the new Warden/Principal, Mr Stewart, took over the reins from Mr Dybeck.  The e-book will conclude by getting students and staff to consider their vision for learning at Sawtry Community College from 2013 to 2020 when the new Year 7 students will spend seven important years at the College….what will their learning experience look like?
