Sawtry Community College
Department: Science

The Science department is accommodated within two blocks at Sawtry Community College, the principle location being the Science block which is home to 6 dedicated Science laboratories.  There are a further two Science laboratories and the Science and Engineering suite which are located on the ground floor of the Art block.

Each room in the department is named after a Scientist that has made a valuable contribution to our everyday lives.  An important homework task in year 7 is to research these scientists to demonstrate students’ scientific communication skills.
